I don't think the elevator will be the only way to the second floor, there will be a ladder or stairs to get up there also if not campers will vote this map day and night.

You can Also Put a Claymore and send the elevator up if there is anyone in the 2nd floor waiting for the elevator "BOOM, Dead" When the elevator door opens
