Past about round 33, the upgraded scavenger will actually just make crawlers. and most people know now that the upgraded VR11 will give your teammate 10 seconds of insta-kill when you shoot them.

So in later rounds on CotD a good way to get farther is to have someone run a big train, usually at the bottom of the light house either inside or outside, and once they get most of the zombies following them, have the other teammate shoot them with the upgraded VR11. this will let them turnaround and shoot all of there zombies and kill them with very little ammo.

I found that in higher rounds this is almost the only way to go
