"Shangri-La" is the name of the zombie map in the upcoming content pack, Annihilation. Zombies return with vengeance in the mysterious land of "Shangri-La," a legendary shrine lost in an exotic jungle. Never before seen undead creatures lurk within a treacherous labyrinth of underground caverns. Step carefully through deadly traps and solve the dark secrets buried within the shifting walls of a long lost land.

Known facts about this map
The original survivors (Tank, Nikolai, Takeo and Richtofen) will return in this map.

New Utilities, including a Minecart and a water slide.

There are Monkey Zombies that apparently steal power-ups and then drop random power-ups when killed.

It appears that the Pack-A-Punch machine may be more easy to access, as it can be seen wide open with nothing blocking it in a picture.

Trap switch can be seen to a trap on a rock in the middle of water, near the waterfall.
The switch is the same model as the trap switches in Kino Der Toten and Ascension.

Female zombies and Double Tap are to appear.

The interesting history on Shangri-La
Shangri-La is a fictional place described in the 1933 novel Lost Horizon by British author James Hilton. In the book, "Shangri-La" is a mystical, harmonious valley, gently guided from a lamasery, enclosed in the western end of the Kunlun Mountains. Shangri-La has become synonymous with any earthly paradise but particularly a mythical Himalayan utopia a permanently happy land, isolated from the outside world. In the novel Lost Horizon, the people who live at Shangri-La are almost immortal, living years beyond the normal lifespan and only very slowly aging in appearance. The word also evokes the imagery of exoticism of the Orient. In the ancient Tibetan scriptures, existence of seven such places is mentioned as Nghe-Beyul Khimpalung. One of such places is mentioned to be situated somewhere in the Makalu-Barun region.
