The other force host threads (kid420 and the other ones sorry i forgot the users who posted) don't work for me and I suspect they don't work for a few other people as well so I thought I'd post a method that works for me.

1. Get into the lobby as host (kid420's method), that is, lag switch at 98%, wait until it says waiting for other players, unlag.

2. You are now currently host in the lobby but it will migrate once there are enough players to balance teams.

3. When you see that there are enough players for the match to begin and before it migrates, rapidly switch between the map options (keep voting for different maps) alternating between dpad up and dpad down and rapidly pressing x. For as long as you do this, it will not migrate and will search for more players. After about ten seconds i usually stop pressing the buttons and it gives me host.

4. You will stay host if everyone else stays in the lobby, but if they leave it will migrate again and you cant use the trick again because the vote is already locked in. Sometimes host will stay with you. You will know that you are still host if the map blips for a second when it is migrating.

5. This trick can be also be used if you dont want the game to start prematurely and you want the lobby to fill out.

Just thought the trick/glitch community might put this method to good use! Sorry if its already been posted. The other method of unlagging at Migrating host...4 just doesnt work for me which really sucks it always boots me from the lobby or keeps on counting

yeah give me some feedback to let me know if its working for people. I'm also curious if this can be used to get more people in a lobby after its full?? Doesnt seem like it should work but it says waiting for more players even after the lobby fills so maybe you can get friends to join at that point for huge games of tdm or whatever or if the friend will just get the game lobby full error.

Tried it a couple of time but no luck on keeping host

yeah its not fool proof, if you get it then people back out and join again it will migrate again and there's nothing (that i know of) that you can do. Also, make sure you aren't doing the trick too early. When there are enough for the game to start i wait til just when i think the "migrating host" text will pop up. Right before i think its going to pop up i start mashing. If more people join while you are mashing then stop, wait for a second and start mashing again right before you think "migrating host" will pop up. You might have to repeat this process a few times if people keep joining. Sorry if thats a little confusing if you have questions lmk

im the other guy hahaha. yeah i figured that if you just keep ur settings on easy setup u get host every time and no getting kicked out of the lobby, i set mine back to normal settings and 99 out of 100 times i was host. and i have yet been kicked out of the game. so just set it to easy setup and i lag it the first time when it migrates and when the game ends and migrates on me i dont even lag it and yet im still host. so i prefer easy setup then the other one. cuz this way u will get host 99% of the time. and u dont need to lag it everytime it migrates, just leave it be

I'm still working this one out... I've been trying for forever to get a reliable way to get host but it seems so dependent on your internet connection and that is always varying. I think there might be a key to using this method and the lag switch in some order.
