on ps3 go to game data utility, find black ops and delete it

delete the black ops patch, then play offline, if you attempt to go online, you will be reset.

On Xbox I believe you go to System settings > Press Y on Memory and it should give an option to Clear System Cache or something. That will remove all patches for all games. Not sure if you can delete one specific patch or if it is still done the same way, I haven't been on Xbox in a while.
