We activated Pack a Punch and I was on top, one friend was at the bottom of the stairs and another was afk in spawn. Once PaP ran out of time it tossed me to the bottom and me and my friend who was on the bottom of the stairs were downed, then both of us crawled over to the afk friend who was going to the bathroom. We knifed him (I had bowie and he had a regular knife) and he went down and the game ended. Anyone have any tips on how to avoid this, or reasons for how we went down. It was really frustrating to be off to a decent start and then to lose like this.

*Note the crawler was no where near the spawn.

Treyarch put a patch to prevent bowie knife jumping, and that patch is what downed you. To prevent it, DO NOT KNIFE ANYONE IF YOU ARE DOWN.

How can thet patch that bowie knife jumping? Since u wont die if youre still alive, so i can still knife you in the air..

And this thing what u had only works if everyone is down except 1..

I'm 99% sure that you landed directly on top of your friend. It is similar to the stupid "glitch", where people dolphin dive on top of one another in a corner at the beginning of a game because they think it gives them more power ups. As for the knifing.. I don't know that part but I think there is another thread that says you can kill a teammate when your downed with the bowie knife or something.

Btw you will also die from an Python
