you dont know much about strafing do you... he does that to make sure he gets a high jump. if you jump 2 times the second will be lower then the 1st but if you crouch it will give your guy time to idk get more strength and jump high again
there really isn't much to know about strafe jumping... other then when to turn and jump and supposedly crouching before you jump. its more about technique and I've pretty much got that down.

the crounching is just to make shure he isnt crounching when making the approach.
when your in that position, it takes longer to sprint and somtimes the jump gets mistaken with a " stand up "
ONCE U DID IT, u remember the MOVEMENT as a formula.
i always succeed when i position myself and then look away from the screen a bit.
I THINK about THE CONTROLLER MOVEMENT, and try to do it as precise as possible.
