This is a link to the Clayton Anti-trust Act( Law against monopolies).
Obviously, everything in this Act, does not directly relate to the situation.
There are some points to be made though.
Im not gonna state every part they violate, but basically, Microsoft is monopolizing the CoD franchise, by buying out the rights to any DLC , and making it only available on XBOX for a brief amount of time. Though a month is not a very long period of time, It is still enough time to get more people to buy an XBOX over a PS3. I realize its a competitive market, and the DLC for CoD is not even relevant to most gamers, but, to the hardcore CoD fans, it is.
Most people are gonna troll me on this, but if you read the law, its very obvious that this does make a significant competitive edge.

Just saying, Microsoft has tried to monopolize industries before, why wouldnt they again?

Your thoughts?

They are a business that are only after the money, same with every other business, including sony.
I agree when i was on ps3 i thought that this was really annoying but they arnt breaking any laws by doing it. Now ive got an xbox im happy that i dont have to wait til DLC.
But i wouldnt go as far as using this act against microsoft :p

business is business always will be

yea microsoft by the rights but activision have to agree aswell but activision are only thinking of lining there pockets

so they snatch how many millions from Microsoft to give xbox 1 months edge on ps3

now i can wait a month between the release on xbox to ps3 because i hate xbox hands down there rubbish

yea most people will go im buying an xbox becuase the dlc comes out a month before ps3

microsft wont admit it that there buying the rights to sell more consoles (hardcore cod fans will go xbox for the exclusive month)

but if your a hardcore ps3 player then you will wait it out
