From day one people have been bitching about how to stop dogs. Origanally it was ghost, then ghost pro, then ninja pro. COD mythbusters even did a huge segment trying to stop dogs usingflashbangs, concussion grenades, and nova gasses. All of these failed to work. What they failed to test was something every player has had unlocked from day 1. The willypete smoke grenade.

To stop a dog, you just simply throw a willypete where they are, or you are. They will basically run in circles in the smoke, not biting anything. They do this until the smoke fades, giving you a solid 10 seconds of cover. If you throw it where you are, they wont even come near you. Although it does give away your position, it beats being raped by dogs every spawn in.

Also if you have Nova Gas and Warlord Pro you get to poison the dogs and you get another one just in case. Plus if you have scavenger you have as many as you can get.
