Try joining the lobby first you get a better chance of getting host. When i join the lobby first i get host 98% of the time but make sure your search options are on Locale Only. Are you using a wireless or cable connection?

I'm using wired because I want to use my lag switch. I lag myself into a lobby 98% of the time but then it migrates... I can lag it so it does not migrate but you need to time it and its hard

nah lag switch doesn't force host most the time it lags you out of the lobby.
