I plan on doing the grind mainly until 5 because not sure it's worth my time to go all the way.

I prestiged twice legit, then hacked to 9th level 60.
Probably stay at that rank for a while and prestige to 10th.

Personally, I like the game except for the fact it takes centuries to rank up.

As BenMur said, the game is okay and fun at the same time, only thing that sucks is the ranking system.

3 games of dom with 6x kills/each only got me 1 rank, where in every other game would've gotten me 2-3 at least.

Well I'm personally just going to go to 10th prestige.
I enjoy grinding it out as I feel a sense of joy when I hit a new prestige. Enjoying the game so I see no reason not to.

Unless the make a patch that lowers the xp per level then I probably will only prestige once or twice. Definitely not going to spend that much time going all the way.

Today's patch increased Operation's XP Reward. So I recommend doing your Operations.

I don't see why you wouldn't prestige? Is there any downside to doing it?

The only downside that I had was the first time I did it, I was low on squad points with the new character because I was exploring weapons, perks, etc. Though the next prestige I had an abundance of squad points because I knew what to buy and what not to.
