I started doing this months ago, I might have been one of the first. I would put a claymore down, then switch to a C4 class and put a C4 block at the furthest possible distance away from the claymore so that it would just barely still go off (that way the blast area is much larger).
This worked really well and you could create some amazing barriers especially with 2 claymores and 2 C4 on the same stretch. I could literally make a invisible impenetrable wall that stretched about 20 feet long.. as soon as a enemy breached that wall at any part the claymore would trip and set the whole thing off. But was quite time consuming switching back and fourth like that all the time, but it did work almost flawlessly even against knife runners. And I could only imagine this with danger close! You could probably barricade a entire section of the map off with 2 claymores and 2 C4's.
It was also fun chaining the C4's. So that you have 1 claymore that sets off 2 C4's. The claymore is set as far away from the first C4 as possible so that it still detonates it. Then the other C4 can be used as far away from the first C4 to really make it a large blast radius. You could really catch anybody with this setup. Because the C4 could be placed in such a way that it could go around a corner or anything really.
i must be stupid not to think of this

my friends in private are gonna hate me now xD
