umm...i think they do it so they don't die... Have you ever tried it? it's quite effective. I do it some times...but its much easier with your button layout on Tactical. I like to knife so i just use Default.

Yeah i dont like when people do it, but i find it hard to do, i cant keep my hand on the R1 button while holding L1 and pressing and holding circle at the same time

use tactical.


but i do it because it is very very effective. when your shooting at someone standing up you dont expect them to drop to the floor. doesnt really bother me if other people do it to me tho.

drop shooting is a skill and its not how you described it to be. Its not "noob" by any means. Its a skill to avoid being killed and better than just standing up

DROP SHOOTTING, is the most annoying thing to me. I use to really hate it in WAW, but its probably because, I have tried to do it a few times and I can't. LOL!!!

I never used to drop shot, but I tried the Tactical setup for once, and I instantly found I came out nearly every single encounter in close quarters, 1 on 1 with another player, and now I do it all time. It's very effective for me.

took me 2 days to get used to crouching / proning and took me a week to get used to knifing. im just so used to instantly clicking the analog stick when someone pops up to me.

but tactical is awesome for other things too like when your behind cover and your getting hurt you can instantly prone and save your life.
