(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey NGU'ers,

I'm a great player. you know, a player that gets over 30kills and 1-10 deaths. per game. and i DO NOT see my K/D ratio going up. instead it goes down. even in this game You must login or register to view this content. where i whent 73-1 my K/D didnt even raise at least 0.01. its some total bull. right?

Well the real reason for this thread is this simple question. can anyone explain to me how the K/D ration works and how & what i can do to raise it up & make it stop going down?

Though the kills and deaths of the last game aren't the deciding factor, they all add up to the total.
The formula is r = k / d ; r=ratio, k=kills, d=deaths. If you have 50 kills and 25 deaths, your r would be 50/25, or 2. Then, say in the next game you got 10 kills and 8 deaths. Your new kill death ratio wouldn't be 10/8, but (50+10)/(25+Cool Man (aka Tustin) (Adding the last game to the total.) This simplifies out to 60/33, or about 1.8. A rule of thumb for the KDR is that if you got a lower ratio than your total in a game, that game will bring down your KDR overall.

Do a barrel roll!
If you already have A LOT of kills then basically it won't budge unless you get not deaths every game. (i think, not 100% positive)

so does this mean the next game if i get a ratio under 60/33 my ratio goes down?

To be honest; if you know ANYTHING about fractions; you should know rations. ;P

Well depends what ur going for what i usualy do is if im going for 2.0 i go whatever the amount of deaths i have multiplied by 2 then subtract that from my kills then thats the number of kills i need to get to make my ratio 2.00 in other words id need to go 2000 and 0 (just an example)

It depends on what your K/D ratio is right now and your ratio really means nothing

so what your saying is that if i went 10-5 i would double my deaths, (10) - (my kills)= 0. So i would need 0 kills to more to raise my ratio?

:confused:

well in the pic link i put here in that time i had a 1.97 k/D, then from there i watched it go down to 1.83. i hate seeing this happen to it. how does it mean nothing? it shows if your good or not. if i see someone with a 0.90 k/d ratio i can clearly see that they suck or maybe they were good but they just now.
