I'm just wondering if they are worth the money or should I just turn my TV volume up. They seem to be very popular and i just thought they would improve my gaming.

big waste of money just turn your tv up and use ninja pro and cold blooded pro... thats what i do and i hear everything!!!

im sure it is worth it... but i rather have a good surround system or gaming chair. But Turtle beach comes with a mic

There awesome! I bought the PX21s and will never buy anything except turtle beach.

Liked the freedom of walking around but just got a pair of PX21 and the difference is remkarkable.
You can hear much clearer and not have to blast the volume on the TV.
You can listen through the headphones only
(Wife is happy about that ) and adjust the game vs. Chat volumes.
It defintley improves your sound clues, footsteps, mine plants, can even hear silenced weapons better.
The ear phones are a little small and can get uncomfortable after a couple of hours, and the belt clip is crap( broke 1st day) but it is very easy to hook up and the cord is 16'. Also never needs to charge,wireless used to run out at the worst times.
Cost is 80.00 US and is not in stock everywhere yet but they are very clear sound and mine have no backround hiss at all
True surround sound would be better but I can't justify spending 150 or more on playing a video game better.

does anyone know if there is a big difference between the stereo headsets such as the turtle beach px21 and the true surround sound ones like tritton ax pro's? im planning on getting a headset soon just curious to see if its worth the $100 difference in price.

Turtle Beaches are the best thing you could ever do to improve your gameplay..unless of course you get A40's

aren't the A40's comparable to the Ax Pro's? what's the difference?
