I dont think it does i tried it without steadyaim and its still the same...it depends how you use the recoil :P

That's not what Steady aim does. It only makes your non-aim-down-sight shots more accurate. Which you only use with secondary's or akimbo weapons to try & compensate the loss in accuracy. And even then I've noticed very little difference.

The only reason I use it is to get the Pro-perk which allows you to hold your breath Significantly when using a sniper rifle.

I do find that IW could've given the perk more accuracy on all guns though, like you've heard, but unfortuntaley, it's an MW2 urban legend ;-)

no.. it makes your cross hairs smaller when you hip fire.. it only helps when you hip fire..

its only when u hipfire, its more accurate. nothing to do with recoil.

maybe because you shoot as you bring up the scope, and since the crosshairs are smaller more of your shots hit before you ADS, so you shoot less ADS, therefore controlling the recoil better? idk o_O

That wouldn't decrease the recoil, it just means that you'd be aiming down the sights less so recoil wouldn't matter.

Why is this a poll? It's more of a straight forward yes-or-no question.
