Update- This patch only works for 360 right now, If you happen to find a PS3 patch we could possible get this working for PS3, I'll give you credit for it if you give me the patch for PS3.

Basically you hook up your ps3 to the computer.
Use a special program that can decrypt it. This program is called "PS3 HDD Studio"

This program is everywhere in this forum and you can find it on the web

Sorry if that sounded off topic, but the people were asking how to put it back to their ps3's.

So as I posted before, the program at the link can both encrypt and decrypt the patch files back and forth from the ps3 HDD to the Computer HDD. So no need on using proxy servers.

Also if you say stay on topic, just to tell you that this thread about MW2 is in the wrong section (WaW section)

yea from what i've been reading around the forums and other forums the proxy has nothing to do with actually hacking mw2 or any cod. You have to remove to hdd from your ps3 and connect to a computer using a sata cable and then you use the ps3 hdd studio as stated in the last post to decrypt the hdd......etc

Ok so i have the EU mw2 patch but i cant open it with this program it says it isnt a patch_mp.ff file.


So how can i make it a .ff file (already tried to just change the file extension)
and i might get this tuff to work and finaly put a tutorial :mad:
