I've played about 30 seconds of a game whilst being signed out.

I think this is a nice little gesture that MW2 put in so that if your internet is messing up a bit, then you don't automatically get kicked from the game.

But to play a full game of sabotage whilst offline... hmm, bit messed up there.

Btw are you talking full game (bomb exploded) or a full game (20 minutes) ?

Cos the 20 minute one seems a bit unlikely.

Your profile is connected to your PSN so nothing you do would count (K/D, Challenges, etc.) but I still doubt you can go full 20 minutes without being booted. I once stayed on for a good 2-3 minutes before being disconnected.

Well it went on to about 16mins then bomb exploaded

very unlikley 16mins of gameplay without signed in, also a waste of time
