(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); These are a few of my classes and the odd tip or two for core Search and destroy(PS3).

Defense:
Defense is so much easier its a joke, there is one map in which the attackers have an advantage and that is karachi(high ground at A) all other maps you should win every defense round.

Many people rush when on defense this is a major FAIL, unless your playing n00bs because attackers often camp themselves.(ive rushed successfully but more often that not theres some n00b prone in a bush when hes supposed to be attacking, so just let them come to you).

When on defense use either an assault rifle or a sniper rifle, the heartbeat sensor is very good if your against low ranks if not use the silencer or FMJ.
CAMP< you all hate this word but just do it, if your on rundown and 2 people cover each bridge there is no way you can lose.

Use claymores, because they watch your back and stay even after you are dead, so many times its been me vs 3+ enemies and my team mates claymores have took 2-3 out for me.

Secondary should always be a shotgun because they are so overpowered for secondarys(unless your a sniper then usp is best or a MP for quick change)

finally if its 1 vs 1, never ninja defuse because a good player will turn around. if the bomb is planted and its 1vs1 never try to defuse unless you,ve saved your claymore to cover you.
this is because a good player will plant then hide out of view and listen for the click that the bomb makes when you try to defuse(it happens whether you have ninja pro or not) always try to kill him because otherwise you'll just die trying to defuse.

a fantastic trick to do is to press square but then leave the bomb alone, the attacker will think your defusing and run in to headshot/knife you but you won't be there and he'll be dead Smile

Defensive Classes
1. The Anti-N00b
Primary: ACR with heartbeat sensor
Secondary: Ranger Akimbo
Equipment: Claymore
Perk 1: Sleight of Hand Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro

2. Normal Class
Primary: ACR with FMJ
Secondary: Ranger Akimbo
Equipment Claymore
Perk 1: Sleight of Hand Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro

3. Full Connection
Primary: FAMAS With Red dot sight
Secondary: Ranger Akimbo
Equipment: Claymore
Perk 1: Sleight of Hand Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro

why i use these classes:
I use the ACR because it has no recoil so is ideal for camping on defence.
the heartbeat sensor is awesome if the other team is below the rank for getting ninja, its basically a auto kill device because you know their exact location and they don't have any idea of yours.
on my normal class i use FMJ because it destroys cover, any attackers behind a wall, box etc get killed like its not even there.
I use famas because within range its the fastest killing weapon around providing the 1st burst hits, if it takes 2 bursts its got a slow kill time so its very lag dependent, red dot is simply so you get better vision, fmj isn't as good on non-automatic weapons.

I use sleight of hand pro because faster aim is great and faster reload is great too, plus no other perk 1 is worth using on defnece except maybe bling.
Stopping power is 1 less bullet to kill, think about the average 20% accuracy and that equates to 5 less bullets to kill, it really helps for shooting down UAVS too.
Ninja Pro is just a must have, although sitrep can be used if you prefer and they don't have heart sensors.

Attack

When Attacking you need to decide how your going to approach it, you've either gotta rush with marathon and try to get there before the enemy or you've gotta move slow and deal with them.

If you've got a party together then all rushing 1 plant site is very viable, otherwise i suggest going slower.

you should always go to the plant sight closer to you for example on karachi go A, on Estate go B, on Quarry go A, Rundown go A because its harder for them to camp at those objectives and they are the least defensible.

When on attack always use FMJ, because defenders always camp and FMJ really helps chewing through that cover, i recommend a silencer too, i usually bling FMJ and silencer.

theres not really an awful lot to say on attack except move together and go to 1 objective, i suggest 5 go to the objective with the bomb and 1 flanks round to the other objective.

Attacking Classes

1. Normal Class
Primary: UMP.45 with Silencer and FMJ
Secondary: Akimbo Rangers With FMJ
Equipment: Claymore
Perk 1: Bling Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Sitrep Pro

2. Anti-camper/Heartbeat user class
Primary: ACR Silencer and FMJ
Secondary: Akimbo Rangers with FMJ
Equipment: Claymore
Perk 1: Bling Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro

3. Anti-N00b Rape
Primary: AK-47 Silenced
Secondary: Akimbo Rangers
Equipment: Claymore
Perk 1: Marathon
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro

Why i use these classes and answers to FAQ

I use the UMP because its the only gun with full mobility which can kill in 3 hits at any range when silenced, even without stopping power.
I use Sitrep because heart sensors are pretty infrequent in public S&Awesome face and those that have them can't use them properly or accurately estimate the distance to the dot and the majority of my deaths when attacking were from claymores. sitrep shows where claymores are and the likely location of campers, and sitrep pro lets you hear even people with ninja.

I use the ACR aka the laser rifle because it has no recoil and it gets me kills, the SCAR or M4A1 are also great to use if you don't like the ACR.

I use the AK-47 because it has a very fast kill time and is also fairly accurate.

I use claymores, not because im a n00b that camps on the attacking side but because i use them to guard the plant site once the bomb is planted and they remain after im dead to aid team mates.

Killstreaks
These should always be 3,4,5
UAV, Care Package, Predator Missile.

some FAQ's:
1. How much search and destroy do you play? i have played S&Awesome face virtually every game now for over 3 months, before that i played about 50% S&Awesome face and 50% Core TDM, so alot.
2. How many cod's have you played? I played since cod4, cod4 was my 1st online FPS.
3. Why claymores and no semtex or frag? quite simply because i get so many kills whilst im dead, and i like the added security of knowing my back is covered.
4. Are you in a Clan? Yes i am in NuKe(NuclearUltimateKineticEnergy) if your interesting in joining and you are very good say your interested in a post.
5. What is your K/D Ratio? if you honestly want to know then PM me.
6. Akimbo shottys are n00000000000000000b why do you use them? I use them because every time i fire the akimbo rangers, within range i know they will 100% get me the kill. no other shotgun is as effective close range or guarantees a kill and no hitmarker, rangers are very consistent.
EDIT: forgot this question which is always asked
7. Why use stopping power on the ump45 it doesn't need it?
The ump is not affected by stopping power at long range as its always a 3 hit kill, however at close range the ump kills in 2 bullets with stopping power so it saves you alot in CQC, stopping power also helps with fmj when firing through surfaces and helps with destroying UAVs when you have limited ammo.

any more questions feel free to post below, i hope my guide has helped you a little Smile

At the beginning of rounds they work perfectly, especially when you get Stealth Bombers or Chopper Gunner / AC130 and you only have 4 kills.

Not to mention, the worst you can get is a UAV or Counter UAV, and those work wonders in Search and Destroy.

Nice guide. If It's all right I'd like to add something to the defense part.
If you are defending, make the attackers plant the bomb. Whether you are 1v1, or you have 3 and the attackers only have 1, make them plant. I can't stand all the times that my team is 5 on 2 or whatever, and for some reason they just have to go find the attackers camping in the back building and they all get killed, leaving me all alone. If you are 1v1, you can't cover both bombsites at once. Just cover one, and wait for them to come. If they plant at your place, easy kill. If they plant at the other, its still 1v1 and you have 45 seconds, not that hard if you're decent.

yh i know what you mean, ive been on a team of randoms 6v1 several times, my whole team runs to find this 1 guy and every single 1 dies and leaves me to win it 1vs1 at 3-3, all they had to do was stay at the bomb sites but retarded team mates can't resist the game winning killcam even if it makes us lose, more reason to get a decent party together if you can.

if i'm 1vs1 i usually stay between the 2 bomb sites, unless 1 is covered by claymores then i have the most amount of time to get to the site its planted at, kill them and then defuse. Special nades are great when your 1vs 1 just to detect a hitmarker so you know where they are.

In serious games i don't use care package becuase its a risk, i use counter-uav instead.

however on Core S&Awesome face im usually with at least 1 person and they wait whilst i call my care package(i let them have it if i don't need it for a challenge) so even if someone manages to get to us its 2vs1 and they die.

A AC-130/CG,Pave Low is a game winner in S&Awesome face

it depends really, cold blooded is useless for me because the opposition hardly ever get UAV, even if they do i simply shoot it down.

killstreaks same as above^ they never get them, if they do i just go inside.

the only other thing its good for is thermal blocking. Stopping power is best for me.
