I'm a total noob to the hacking scene and know little to no coding -Miniscule HTML dosen''t count does it...

So I was just wondering, where do I start?
I can do a few things like the 10th prestige hack because I can follow instructions well and have a strong hold of common sense (unlike some people I know...)
But I would have know idea where to start if i was making something like that from scratch.

Are there any pointers you guys could give me to get started such as a task to find XXXXX in the game thats relatively simple and has been done already so I can get pointers?
Or some sort of tutorial tool or coding lessons or whatever, because this realy piques my interest and I want to learn more.

Your first task (note: only two or three people have completed this)

Find how to bypass the checksum in the patch. Then with his knowledge, modify the patch to complete all challenges and host your lobby.

Nobody knows where to start, but I pmed you a recent finding of mine that MIGHT work, I just don't have a computer ATM....using my iPod or everything

1. If you are serious take notes of useful information that you think you might find useful later on.

2. Bookmark useful posts that are going to help you.

3. Practice. If you know nothing about hacking. Look at some posts that are to do with hex. Or older posts regrding packet injection and practice them.

From there move on. Find and learn more.
