I decided to make a very simple guide, because the guides i found was very hard to understand,
and they didn't have "One-Shot-Kill ColourZones®"
Before we start, i just want to list some facts, that some of you might not know:
All sniper riffles has the same base damage (70), it is only because they have different multipliers, that they appear to have different damage.
Stopping power multiplies the base damage with 1,4. Therefore any sniper riffle with Stopping Power will have a base damage of 98.
A silencer puts the base damage down to 50, but when you put stopping power on, it goes up to 70 again (multiply with 1,4)
FMJ does NOT add any damage to the weapon at all, u can tell because an Intervention with Stopping power #Base dmg 98# only would be able to get hitmarkers (that is of course if the FMJ adds 2 or more damage)
A Sniper riffle without Stopping Power and With a silencer can NEVER achive One-Shot-Kills, since the Base damage is 50 and the multiplier is 1,5 (Equals 75).
Sleight Of Hand Pro will cut the time "Aim Down Sight"-time In half
All snipers have the same hip fire accuracy!
Barrett .50cal
Base Damage: 70 (50 with silencer)
Magazine Size: 10 rounds (15 with Extended Mags)
Unlocked At Level 4
Rate of fire: 600 Rounds per Minute
Tips & Tactics:
New players tend to spray the Barrett, and shoot before the scope has gone back to "steady".
The spraying can come in advantage in close quarters, where there is no time to switch to the secondary.
On paper, this is the best sniper.
It does the EXACT same damage as the Intervention, because the have the same multipliers.
Has less sway when hold in "steady" (holding breath).
In Hardcore without stopping power, this weapon is going to get ONLY One-Shot-Kills, since the Hardcore health is 30, and this has a base damage of 50.
In Hardcore without stopping power, this weapon is going to get ONLY One-Shot-Kills, since the Hardcore health is 30, and this has a base damage of 70. (Unless opponent has Painkiller, Last/Final Stand).
It has lower recoil than the Barrett, and therefore it is better on long distances.
Sways a lot when hold steady, and due to the Bolt-Action, it has a very low rate of fire, compared to other sniper rifles.
It does the EXACT same damage as the Barrett, because the have the same multipliers.
Has the same Accuracy as any other sniper (No matter what people tell you)
Can be reload-canceled (If somebody surprises you while you are reloading.
Does NOT benefit from Stopping Power, because of its multipliers!
Better Multipliers than M21-Ebr
This weapon has the slowest weapon switch time of any in the game, therefore, use Sleight of Hand Pro.
This is a great weapon for Hardcore: SnD, because it doesnt benefit from stopping power, and therefore you can use coldbloded, and still only get One-Shot-Kills!
Don't use with silencer, since combined with the multipliers, it will make this a terrible weapon.
Use a m93 Raffica or a Handgun for secondary, since this weapon has sutch a slow weapon switch time.
Some players like to treat this sniper as an assault rifle. They often use Acog sight.
Without stoppingpower, and with a silencer, it will still only take to shots to kill, no matter where you hit your opponent.
Very good for modded controllers!
Is a lot like a FAL just with a scope, thats why people tend to treat it like an assault rifle. However, this weapon will have idle sway, and the FAL wont.
This is probably the best sniper for Hardcore, since it will give One-Shot-Kills, and has a very high rate of fire + low recoil!
