i just purchased the
Linksys E3000 Dual Band Router
It doubled my connection quality and range
my connection type is now open, without anything else done, (no UPnP no DMZ no cable)
its $100 retail at Best Buy and i highly recommend buying it in place of the Valet or Valet Plus
(the entire point of Valet is for noobs who can't follow on screen instructions)

I've gotta pretty good Belkin router that is 2 floors away from my ps3 and moving either is not feesable. You got any tips for that? Lol!

go to home depot and order some CAT6 Cable (thats the highest quality and recommended for HD stream and gaming) get the length you need ie i got a 50 foot cable for my samsung TV upstairs, most houses you can easily drill a hole up and hook the cable
the hardest part won't be the drilling but the crimping of the cable
they also sell crimping stuff at home depot

I was actually having a giggle, but good answer. I have thought about a cable before, but still, it would be abit of a task. My connection is not that bad, not enough to be drilling holes everywhere haha.
