(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys. I just wanted to make a guide on how you can Get and Maintain a nice K/D Ratio. As we all know keeping a good K/D ratio can be tough at times, especially when your having those "bad" days that pull you down a little bit and sometimes it can be frustrating. A good K/D is nice to have because you can brag to your friends, feel glad that you worked hard to get it, or just to show everyone else that your pretty good.

Ok now the first thing you must understand if you don't already is that you are not going to get a good K/D spread every game. EVERY player has his bad games and it's ok, it's normal. A lot of times is that your doing pretty good with all of your games then you start doing bad in a game and you get pissed. When you get pissed you take your concentration off the game and then you end up doing even worse. The best thing to do is to just keep your cool and think "it already happened there's nothing I can do about it" and just forget about it. CoD is a random game and it's impossible to do great every game.

1. Now the first thing you want is good sensible classes. By now you know what weapons work for you and you should know what perks and attachments work well with that weapon. For example, If your not a fan of the M16's iron sights then it might be a good idea for you to slap on a red dot sight. Or if your a knifing person and like to knife a lot, then maybe your gonna want to use Commando. Again, it all depends on your playing style and what works for you.

2. Use a weapon that fits with the game type your playing. I know i said use whatever works for you but it's very important to make sure the class you use works well in your game type. For example if your playing Search and Destroy (not the best game type to raise your K/D but whatever) your probably gonna want to use Ninja so you can't be seen on Heartbeat sensors and it adds more stealth. This is important because you want to get the most out of perks as you can. Using Ninja in Ground War is not gonna be very effective because there's gunfire and choppers and grenades and all of that everywhere so being sneaky isn't needed as much.

3. Play smart! If your playing TDM don't make a mad rush through the center of the map hoping to kill someone. Even if you do take out someone your definitely going to die pretty soon and that would just bring you even again, which is not what you want. Think of a plan, maybe flank around the side of the map while the enemy team is paying attention to your team on the other side of the map, then when you get to there spawn start attacking them from behind. It will be easier to get the kills and the enemy team will be thrown off by it because the rest of your team is attacking from the front.

4. Don't stay in one spot too long! People do this a lot when they're sniping, if your sniping don't snipe in the same spot the whole game because they enemy will soon catch on to your spot and take you out. You want to move around but keep a low profile while doing it. This way your enemy will never have a good idea where you are.

5. Be unpredictable! If you flanked the enemy team on the side of the map and then die don't flank on the same side right when you spawn because your enemy is probably prepared for it. Maybe you have brought all the attention to the side you just flanked and now everybody is on that side, in that case you can flank from the side with no action and get some more kills from that. Or if both sides of the map have a lot of action then you can just lay back on your side for a little while and pick off the guys who like to rush. Until you feel like trying to flank again.

Now i'm gonna explain 2 tactics that are nice to use in TDM (but they work in some other game types too).

Flanking - This strategy works very well for surprising the enemy while racking up kills. You move to a side of the map and keep moving forward until you get to the enemies spawn spot and then take out all of the enemies from behind while your team is attacking them from the other side. Eventually you might die unless you run back to your side when they start catching on to you but you can still get a good kill streak before going down. use lower killstreaks such as UAV, Carepackage/Counter-UAV, and Predator Missile

Turtle/Defending - I'm not going to use the word camping because that word is misused a lot. Camping is lets say sitting next to a door way with a shotgun waiting until someone walks through so you get an easy kill. This tactic is different. Most of the time in TDM or CTF the map is divided into 2 "sides". Your teams side and the other teams side. Basically you guard your side of the map and move around your side of the map while killing any enemy that comes close to "your side" and having the advantage because you will probably see him before he sees you. use maybe 3,5,7 or 5,7,9 since you won't be moving around a lot.

Another small tip is to stay behind cover as much as possible. By covering up more of your body you already have a better advantage against your enemy and makes it easier for you to get more kills. Try to use anything you can find as cover even if it covers up just your legs, it's better then nothing.

*Just a few of my classes that I like*
Primary Weapon: Famas (Red dot sight and Silencer)
Secondary Weapon: AA-12 Shotgun
Equipment: Semtex
Special Grenades: Stuns
Perk 1: Bling
Perk 2: Stopping power
Perk 3: Steady aim

Primary Weapon: Intervention (Thermal)
Secondary Weapon: AA-12 Shotgun
Equipment: Tactical Insertion
Special Grenades: Smoke
Perk 1: Sleight of Hand
Perk 2: Stopping Power
Perk 3: Steady aim

Ok well these are some things that you can do if your having trouble keeping a good K/D ratio. Hope I helped and I might make some more guides in the future if you guys ask me too. PEACE :P

I will add in links later if I remember to

You should add for rushing/flanking use lower killstreaks such as UAV, Carepackage/Counter-UAV, and Predator Missile. And when you are being a turtle/defending, use maybe 3,5,7 or 5,7,9 since you won't be moving around a lot.

On the FAMAS class you should use stun's because if you flank stuns are quicker than flash :-)

i can agree with that, stuns im my opinion overall are the best special grenades since they throw the fastest
