Well thats what you are recommended to learn first as its the easiest and sets you up for harder languages

Just torrent some ebooks on Visual Basic or C# (i prefer c#), and start from there, once you get the hang of it, its quite simple

I mean 2 years ago i couldn't code anything, towards the end of last year, i made a OpenGL based Controller Client for Virtual Flight Simulation. So there good languages, if you can learn and are willing to learn.
