(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright, I have a Hauppage 1212 HD-PVR & Sony Vegas Pro 9. My problem is, how do I get my Vegas settings as good as my ArcSoft capturing? I took a video of my freind list & the ArcSoft quality looks good, but when I go 2 edit it in Sony Vegas the quality is so bad i can't even read people's comments. I was looking 4 a GOOD youtube TUT or something of that sort. I've tried several different settings by using youtube vids. I have had NO luck at all yet. Please help get much better quality.

when your editing in sony vegas, look above the video preview for draft preview good or best. im assuming this is set on a lower setting. This is to make the video less laggy when your editing. The video should look fine after you render it (with the proper render settings).

Yes I already played with those settings & I believe best (auto) looked the clearest, but it was still crappy looking quality.

Hmm try looking for a button above the video preview saying match media settings after clicking on it find and click on your imported clip. The clip should look better now
