Definitely not EMP if you are talking about the white circle that grows and the gets smaller again. It looks more like it might be a marker of some sort. Maybe players can place markers on the mini-map to tell teammates where enemies are.

What is more interesting is at the end of the video it looks like we will be able to record our gameplay. I'm guessing they will have a place for people to post there best segments of gameplay right on the ps3/360.

Maybe it's a motion sensor? just a guess lol

Probably UAV if not they might of included a feature where if the enemy shows up on the map so does the waveform to make the player more aware

at :30 theres commando and an even cheaper weapon then tack knife

why is this in modern warfare 2 section?

You have no idea how the ballistic knife will be.
It may ruin the game like commando, or it may be well balenced.

It looks nothing like an EMP to me but I could be wrong.
