(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I really want to figure out how to get the buttons in our clang tags. I was looking around in hex editor and i changed some settings and i got some interesting stuff?

Could this help us, do u guys already know this, or does this not help us at all. you guys tell me.

So, i went to "View" then "Charset" and then you will see a few other options. The normal option is "ANIS". The other options are "DOS/IBM-ASCII" "Macintosh" and "EBCDIC". I will show you the MW2 files in these different settings.

BUT FIRST, here are the codes for the buttons in HEX.

    0E = Start
0F = Select
10 = L3
11 = R3
12 = L2
13 = R2
05 = L1
06 = R1
14 = D pad Up
15 = D pad Down
16 = D Pad Left
17 = D Pad Right
01 = X
02 = O
03 = []
04 = /\



Now you would put them on the normal setting of ANIS and they would then show up as just a dot in the right hand side but you can see the codes in the left side. here are these codes in the different settings. (they will be in the same order as above)

OK, the second set is in the "DOS/IBM-ASCII" setting.

WOW, i wasnt expecting that!!! you can get all of these by using the alt codes. (hit alt + the #following the charcter) ☺1 ☻2 ♥3 ♦4 ♣5 ♠6 ♫13 ☼14 ►15 ◄16 ↕17 ‼18 ¶19 §20 ▬21 ↨22

OK, now here are the codes in the "Macintosh" setting.

Again, just like the first "ANIS" setting, they are just dots.
The last setting is the same as the other settings except for the "DOS/IBM-ASCII" just show up as dots as well.

That isnt all, here is some more things to have you thinking.

I took this text and i changed the settings and most of them chaged.

I took them off of Microsoft Word 7. i went up to about 1000 in the alt codes (yes, i was bored so i did that for a few hours. lol) Here is what was in Microsoft Word and then hex.

Now what is different form the rest is that at the beginning there are alot of blank spaces that where not in the rest.

WOW, there where some interesting things there but now for some mw2 files.

Hey, did u find these codes in my thread? If so, it would be nice if you gave a refrence. If not, thats ok.

Btw, so you change the Hex Editor values of the clan tag and get those things?

i saw them in ur thread and it game me the idea of this thread but i got them alont time ago. i was searching around the web to find them and i have had them in a save document for some time now.

and that is what i am thinking about changing the values and maybe that will work?

Ok, i edited the values in the MoTD and the Clan Tag. However, there is not clan tag. Im gonna try to save the Newest Save Data and edit that, to see if that works

I dont think theres a way. Because once you change the values, it goes to "...." and whenever it changes to that it means that it will not show up in the clan tag. I think our plan is foiled :cry:
