I've jb'd my ps3 and backed up my mw2 game to my internal hd, my question is how do I get the game to run? I insert other game to trick ps3 that it's a legit blu-ray game and when it returns to xmb so I could click on mw2 game it freezes? What am I doing wrong? I have followed several tutorials meticulously and still have same problem? Also, what modded patch do I use with ftp server once I get mw2 game running? Do I use Brandon's or the newly released Godlymodz patch v4?

I was doing exact thing as you. Got told how eventually. We missed out that no one actually tells us to backup the game lol. Thats because MW2 can not be backed up and run successfully(just a stuborn game lol). All you have to do is, run mw2(using disc) and install the 1.11 patch. Then start up the ftp server on ps3. Browse to dev_hdd0/game/bles00683/usrdir and delete the patch_mp.ff. Then put a modded patch_mp.ff in its place. Exit and run the game from disc
