I'm looking for links to everything needed here, & also a cheap way to jailbreak my ps3 (I was thinking of buying Palm Pre) but able to still jailbreak after 3.42 fw. I know no 1 has found how to bypass 3.42 yet, but I want everything I need ready to go on my Laptop before I purchase a jailbreak. I do have 2ps3s & 1 is on 3.41 firmware. and if any1 can clarify #14 in the list for me that would be awesome. and if some1 could get me a link or where to get DEREKTROTTER's .GSC GODLYMODZ that bgalex used on PS3! How did he convert it to ps3? please give me a link or pre-made PS3 patch that I can use. I want all this on my Laptop before I purchase anything. Help=REP

You will need:
A ps3 with 3.41 (If you have updated to 3.42 then dont bother doing this)
Your jailbreak system/chip (I use my blackCat USB)
Backup Manager
FTP server homebrew
File Zilla

1.Run your ps3 in Dev mode, using your jailbreaker
2.Install Backup Manager from a USB in *Install Package File*
3.Backup Mw2 to your HDD, this may take a while!
4.Once complete, restart your ps3
5.Download a copy of FTP server homebrew on PS3 News
6.Install this homebrew in the *Install Package File* from your USB
7.Start FTP server from your games list
8.Now once you start this up, press X to start the FTP service
9.You will then see your private IP address and port number
10.Head over to your PC where you should File Zilla installed
11.Once File zilla has launched, type your HOST as your IP address as you see on your FTP server screen on you TV
12.The Username, you Type "FTPD" and your PORT is the Port number on your TV screen, you dont have to put a password.
13.Click enter and your FTP should start, you will now see your ROOT file system on your PC.
14.Head over to your root and open DEV_HDD0 and locate to your patch file,
I dont want to go into detail because I want you to figure this out yourself!
15.Replace your modded patch file into your patch folder, and then close everthing.
16.Quit FTP server on your ps3, and restart you console.
17.Start up Backup Manager and start mw2, insert another disc or the Mw2 disc.
