(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a dazzle. Smile

Just recently, I bought some RCA splitters. Here is my problem: Whenever I split the video (yellow) cable, and I plug one into my TV, and the other into my Dazzle, there is a delay on the TV as well as the Dazzle. The strange thing is: when I unplug the video cable from the Dazzle, then the video cable going to the TV produces no delay on the screen. By delay I mean whenever I push a button, it takes a split second for the TV to actually show what that button does. There is no delay when I play with HDMI when I don't want to record, but when I play with RCA cables and split the video cables while having them both plugged in to my TV and Dazzle, there is about a quarter second delay. I can't play MW2 without spraying all over with this delay.

How can I fix this?!

My setup:

PS3
|
A/V RCA cables
|
Y-splitter (Female to 2 Males)
| \
TV, Dazzle

Can anybody help me? Please don't tell me to get an HD PVR please. How can I fix this problem I am having?

I have gold spilitters, which i got from radioshack for like $7 each.
Im guessing that might be the reason why your getting a bit of delay.. not 100% sure tho

all i did was buy the old ps3 regular plug in that also has a S-video cord attached, so i plug that part into the tv and then with the red white and yellow, i put the video(yellow) into the dazzle and the red and white into my audio part next to the s-video plug in... works fine for me

old ps3 regular plugin == You must login or register to view this content.

This is awesome! I have a few questions though Smile

Does it like convert HDMI to S-Video and RCA? And vice-versa?!

Does it allow the three RCA cables to work while also having the S-Video cable work at the same time?!!?

Is there a delay?!! And does the signal quality change or produce delay when you have the S-Video and the RCA cables plugged in to different things at the same time?

no, you will have to go to display settings and switch your video to S-Video instead of high definition because the dazzle is not HD compatible. this isn't for the best quality. if you want good quality, you have to pay the price (HD PVR or whatever the fk).

there is no delay for me, and i use cyberlink the capture the footage and edit the files and it has its own little upload to youtube feature. i think the quality is okay you can check my latest vid on youtube.com/youngrichardd and u can choose the quality to 720p..

the video of the RCA plugs into the dazzle to give the computer video, and the S-video part gives the TV video. you can plug the red and white to whichever you want the sound from the ps3 to go to. ideally you would plug them into the tv so you can hear the sound on the tv instead of the computer
