I was wondering because the maps are converged with the patch itself. I'm worried that installing them with a modded patch will ruin it.

if u install the new maps it will overwrite the patch and it will ruin the hacks so dont download it

I havent tried it actualy, I have a backup of my ps3 though so may try it tomorrow

I will have to find somebody to gameshare from tomorrow and give it a go, will tell you what happens if you dont already find out by then

I doubt it unless you Decompressed it and modded it yourself

You shouldnt download them because
1 there not that great
2 you may lose the mod

get someone else to test and see if it works

Me and Derektrotter were discussing this yesterday,,, do a system backup onto usb first because its the same machine it will reinstall no problem (if use a different machine to restore patch wont copy over to stop you doing gameshare etc) I run a custom version of mossys patch and have installed both map packs and the mod works perfectly,, I can now host on bonus maps no problem,

I saw (your?) video on YouTube with the map packs, and thats what sparked my interest.

Had someone test this today, and amazingly it does not affect your patch whatsoever. So if you want to mod on the new maps, just download & install em'.
