yes , you need a jailbreak device

and you need load mw2 up on your 3.41 aswell

I installed this .pkg on my 3.41 ps3original unmodded 1.11 patch (which has a broken blu ray ) Ok i transferred the patch to my 3.50 ps3 when i tryo to load mw2 i get an error??? Any other game will load but when i have the 1.11 patch from mw2 on there it will not load game... As soon as i delete the patch it will load?

i personally believe when .pkgs are installed, a sony signiture is attached. you can see these on your hdd by using ftp.

in your case installing manually, the certificate psnt attached. Then when you try to load it on 3.5, the system sees it as homebrew

Bro i will donate for some real help man. Ive worked my ass off to hunt down a ipod touch i have jailbroken the 3.41. I installed a regular 1.11 mw2 clean patch... When i just try to transfer over the unmodded regular patch it will not even load up on my 3.50 ps3 it says error during start or something. Any suggestions man

use ps3 ftp to put the modded patch in the ps3 with 3.41 and just use data tranfer to tranfer it to the ps3 with 3.50

did that bro, but when i data transfer and try to load mw2 disc , the 1.11 mw2 patch actually stops the game from even loading?

are you using the right patch for you game and the only part you should be editing is the patch_mp.ff for online hacks and if you mess up the mp.ff is should only freeze when going to mp not when trying to start the game
