Well so... i've played mw2 on both and these are the main differences

- Xbox has more campers
- Xbox has too many glitches/ hacks
- Xbox has too many famas wannabee mlg "tryhards"
- Xbox has too many noob tubers
- Xbox community has a lot more 12 yr olds
- Xbox has a lot more competitive gaming
- Xbox gets stuff eairler

- Ps3 has too many ump "tryhards"
- Ps3 makes a lot more lobby noise without partychat
- Ps3 has a lot more boosters
- Ps3 feels nice knowing online is free


Some myths about both consoles.

- Ps3 DOES NOT lagg. Your connection laggs.
- Xbox people are NOT better, they're just a lot more annoying ie camping

Overall i enjoy ps3 online more than xbox (this dosn't mean that ps3 is better its just more enjoyable IMO) , no im not being a fanboy its just my opinion and my list summarizes why. Im a casual gamer, so i don't really even care about thoese extra little features you get when you pay ie partychat maps 1 month eairly.

look at it from my perspective from being a parent and a gamer.

if my son wanted a console and i didn't have one already and I wasn't a gamer i would have purchased him an xbox360 seeing how the price tag is lower and not understanding that you'd have to pay for internet yearly on the thing, because most parents did this. so now every parent has pretty much done this for their kid, because xbox is cheap, it has always been.

ps3 just lowered it's price tag my first one cost me 600 dollars, and i just got the second one for 300.... so there's less kids(but the ones that there are spoiled brats).

xbox has better servers, and they should because their users pay for their usage. ps3 servers are good for being free, and i'm fine with it.

overall there will always be more of a community on xbox because of how many people have purchased them at such a low price.

i have one friend at work that insists that people on xbox are better players, my argument to him has always been that theres more people playing on xbox so there would be alot more better people, but the people that play on ps3 there happen to be alot of good players too, for a ratio difference there would have to be more better players on ps3 because of this ratio.

Wait u say ps3 has more boosters? you have a problem man its been a week im trying to hunt boosters on ffa and barebones and i havent found ONE with my nuke booster hunter account

Anyways man they hate us because they never tried ps3 and i dont see alot of people with UMP when i played at my friends house on his 360 i was playing tdm and they were camping in their spawn so we had to noob tube them to get them i prefer ps3 because alot more kids play ps3 and guys and its funny to hear people say they will own you when you make a rank 1 account on mw2 and go on snd with a bunch of 3rd prestige and so get owned and tell them friends to back out

Yeah i was sorta having trouble thinking of downsides for the ps3 so i had to stick some in there to be some what moderately unbiased lol. I hav'nt played mw2 since c lobbies came out so i guess thats why boosting stopped and as far as i can remember a lot of ppl used the ump so yeah.

Well first off id just like to say i'm far from being a parent and if i were to buy my son something for hundreds of dollars id prob do a bit of research because xbox will overall cost more because of the online tag but i get what you mean.

Ps3's are now though outselling xbox so many the part i quoted may not be true in a few years, only time will tell.

well the smart parents would do the research, but i was looking at it from the everyone that does know better, being that i do, i'd defiantly go with getting the ps3 for the reason of blu ray alone.(that is the reason i went with ps3) also because i've been playing ps since ps1, and xbox always seemed so cheap to me, and i always hated halo

I disagree. I own both consoles and I say overall, playing MW2 online is so much more fun on the Xbox. No doubt. On my PS3, I get tubed every other death and killed by a camper for the other deaths. On Xbox, the tubing rarely happens and campers in SnD aren't very common. And as far as paying for Xbox Live, it's no problem paying for it considering the features it offers. Xbox Live blows PSN out of the water. It's no contest. So as an owner of both systems I say Xbox MW2 > PS3 MW2.

In other words : PS3 Rules and XBOX 360 Sucks.

I dont have a ps3 so i cant speak for how good that is, but i know that xbox has a ton of fanboys and tryhards. Now everygame i get into its people who try to Nuke with OMA noobtubes, or just camp a hallway with barret thermall OMA/scavenger, or theres the famas tryhards who just get in a team of 6 and all use famas/m16's and spawn camp.

and lately almost every game ive been getting into the host picking system is shit, i have always had a perfect 5 bar connection, but now every game i get into there is always a host change (because of lag) and im always lagging because of that host. I just mute everyone but the people i play with now because of all the 12 yr olds in the lobies.
