(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Has anyone ever been playing Modern Warfare 2 and had there screen go black and shortly there after get a message saying out of memory? Is this an indictaion of YLOD? Also this happened on the PS3 after challenge lobby.

Do you know what would cause this? I have 80+ GB free space on hard drive.
By the way Thanks for the above post as I was getting ready to sell this PS3 if that was the case.

I get that many, many times. It is not the indication of a YLOD. I have gotten the message long before CLs, so it is not anything to do with CLs.

In case you're still curious, it's a glitch MW2 causes upon itself with "memory" referring to RAM. God alone knows how IW cocked up this badly, but we should be used to it by know :rolleyes:

But yeah, there's nothing wrong with your system.

I am 99.9% sure it is to do with your cache having to much data in it and has to be cleared, but i could be wrong.

But it ash nothing to do with any system falures

It's nothing to do with YLOD. As said above, it's something to do with the cache. I had infections and after a couple of games I got that. To clear your cache if you go back to the main menu then it will be ok.

I've had this way back in February a few times when i bought my PS3 Slim.
It seems to be some stupid random glitch in the game.
