Do you mean getting the patch without updating to 3.50? If so all you have to do is create a new user. Not connected to PSN, but connected to internet and just load up MW2 it will download the patch without having to have 3.50 FW

have your ps3 connected to the internet and download the patch , it wont update your ps3
