You do this by prying open the shield, unscrewing the securing screw, and sliding the tray out of the console. Use a SATA cable or a spare laptop hard drive bay to connect the PS3 hard drive to your computer. Do some searching around and delete as necessary and replace as necessary.

only problem is you gotta format it when you put it back into the ps3... i think. anyways if you dont have to format it, then it could work as we now have WORKING ps3 patches
