Someone in the world has edited their patch and got it to work without a black screen and i was wondering how YOU did it!!

Alabamas works perfectly. Most ppl are getting the black screen because off regions etc. Aslong as they get the start and end off file and chance compression key when edited it should work fine everytime

Here's a nice easy way to port. Get an xbox patch and use these commands in offzip -a -z -1 patch_mp.ff ./ 0

you will get one file it's the decompiled xbox patch. Each .gsc is in the correct order. Alps you need to do is copy and paste the xbox gsc into the b4ao and 14f51 files. Remember to keep lenths the same.

so, open the xbox b4oa and 14f51 in hex and copy and paste them in the PS3 patch correct? well, i wouldent be able to edit them my self BUT there are some good xbox patches out there like the flyable jets and stuff.....THANKS FOR THE HELP!!!!!

Well, the other thing with black screens is, once you load up Multiplayer with a patch, if you change it again it will blackscreen. You need to use a fresh download of the MW2 patch, then overwrite the patch_mp.ff BEFORE playing on multiplayer.
