What code is wrong? I tried bgalex, mossy, and im about to try godlymodz again. And when i loaded the bgalex patch it froze at the "main menu", where campaign, special ops and multiplayer is at. The other one freezes when i press start match, in split screen. But i can still do stuff (but not on the game). Like i can press the PS button and the PSN will pop up, but in the "lobby" i cant do anything.
The bgalex patch also freezes when i press start match. So i think it does it for all of them. But i did make a mistake a while ago, in HDD0/game/blus30337/ i replaced the wrong patch_mp.ff file. So i deleted the MW2 patch, re downloaded & installed it, but im not sure if that worked. To fix this do i need to "reformat my whole ps3"? Like a full format or can i do a quick format, and will it work?

Try to reformat your 3.41 PS3. And if it goes back to the orginal firmware then just update to 3.41. It will not tell you to update the firmware because you need to be connected to PSN for that to happen.
