What I do for not get Black screens is: Press On and Eject. Then when the both light are lighting I turn my PS3 off by pressing the switch on the backside. then I do the same (On and eject) and by doing this in the 2nd try I hear 3 times the "ding" sound. That means for me that I can run the PKG files.

Enciendes tu consola que quieres abrir los archivos PKG pulsando el boton de encendido y eject. Cuando veas 2 luces que parpadean, apagas la consola desde atras. Ahora haces lo mismo (encender y eject) y esta vez escucharas el sonido "ding" 3 veces. Eso significa para mi que puedo iniciar las cosas de pkg
