Could I install the pkg file of mw2 patch to ps3 though installer? i tried it but idk if i had the right one.
Will it work and if so whats the download link?

You will never be able to install a modded PKG directly onto a 3.50.

I really wish everyone would stop asking this 50 times a day.


Now if you ment if you can install the PKG on a 3.41 yes. you can. Just use a filemanager.

Not Modded PKG mw2 1.11 file The Normal one and install it to ps3 cuz my jailbroken ps3 (FW3.41) can't play games so i need to install mw2 patch and than it could be on there without downloading from disc. so i can use FTP server and mod patch_mp.ff though hdd and game.. yah i have 3.41 FW ps3 just can't play disc games.. Also is there a link?

I had the same situation as you before I found a way to do it though, all you need is to download the patch normally from the PS3 thats 3.50 (in your case the slim) then data transfer it to the broken disc drive one (the 3.41 one). Then once its done boot up FTP server (on the 3.41 PS3) then change out the patch_mp.ff with a modified one and data transfer back to the 3.50 PS3. Hope this helped

Ohh and by the way the PS3 i used that was broken has now YLODed, what is this hair dryer fix you speak of? Any advice appreciated, I really need to fix it and if i can with a hair dryer rather then pay someone I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance

u just talking rubbish u cant tranfer from 3.50 to 3.41 it will ask u to update the 3.41 to 3.50

I'm not sure when i did it it was from a 3.41 PS3 to a broken 3.41 PS3 sorry if it doesn't work from 3.50 to 3.41 haven't tried that :s
