Backing up modded patch to 3.5?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys so I know that you can't backup a modded patch and transfer it to another PS3, but what I'm wondering is can I jailbreak my PS3 and then modify the patch, back it up with an external hdd, THEN update my ps3 back to 3.5 fw and then restore it with the backup i recently made? note, this is all on the same ps3.

The patch should be there yes.

But your PS3 will NOT go back to 3.41 if your thinking that.

Okay so I can still use the modded patch after I update but it just wont be a jailbroken ps3? Because updating and downgrading is no problem for me I can always downgrade if I want a different patch.

Wrong you cannot downgrade your ps3!
