make sure the patch has this name patch_mp.ff just like that and drag it into the right folder.

HDD0-Game-Blus(whatever is your MW2)-USIDIR. name the patch your putting in pathc_mp.ff then drag it over the original patch_mp.ff and it will say overwrite and click yes then click EXIT TO XMB on your ps3. wala there you go

i did what you say and i got the message to overight and i did but when i go to splitscreen the patch doesnt show up and when i clicked to overight and leave the ftp server it said still running things wtf i need a better tut can anyone make a step by step tut:bye:

Well open the folder's over right it , Then go to ps3 and click STOP FTP server . Then goto splitscreen and BUT MAKE SURE THE V8 HAS TEH CODE'S IN IT.

People complained that it was blank so try some other patch

sorry for being a troll but COMPLETLEY wrong. im assuming you dont have a jailbreak? if you press Stop FTP server it freezes the ps3 /facepalm

I opened it up with hex editor and It showed codes sorry that's not it but I know I'm close to being done though I can feel it

this helped me out alot .
but it was a bit hard for me because im noob.

Reality check - I do have a jailbreak and obv your ps is mental cause mine doesn't freeze when i stop the FTP server

Obv it will have code's but first try v7 and if the hack's work with v7 switch to v8 and if v8 dont work then that means there's nothing in the patch (blank)

ok what you going to do is open FTP then Delete the patch that says patch_mp.ff.ff
then go over mossys patch and rename it to patch_mp(in your pc not FTP)
and just put in FTP
in your ps3 go down to exit to xmb something like that dont click on stop FTP cuz it will erorr or freeeeez
