the part im getting confussed at is where he says :

where do you find that file because i automaticly thought it was when you load your xbox patch in ff viewer then in the folder your patch was stored in it makes a file called patch-extract or something like that , so ive been loading that in the converter tool along with my clean ps3 one.

Just open your xbox patch in .ffviewer, then open the Converter and choose the by the .ffviewer created file patch-extract.dat (or similar / in the same directory as the xbox patch) and then select a clean ps3 patch and klick convert. (during this the .ffviewer must stay opened with the xbox patch!)

so when i open my patch in ff viewer , then it automaticly created a file called patch-extract.fat in the folder .. is that the file i use in the converter along with my clean ps3 patch ? :y:
