(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so i got my friend to give me his map packs and i downloaded the dlc 2 and clicked the bubble thing and installed it. I then went on mw2 and went to private match and tried click on carnival and it wouldn't let me. Also i went to game data utility and there the dlc version was blank. Anyone else have this problem? if so how do i fix this?

Ok lets start over. Download the dlc. Then log on to the acc you want it on. Not on yours friends account but yours. Install it there. - be sure to install it on the account you want it on- it should be there. Do not delete you friends acc. It must remain there because as of now your ps3 will be acting as a branch of your friends ps3. If you delete it your ps3 will be cut off from the tree so to speak. Whatever he gets you can now get as well.

It doesn't matter if he's got his friends user account or not, once the map packs are installed on his PS3, he can use them on any PS3 user account and deleting his friends account doesn't make a difference(unless he deactivates it) as his PS3 will have now taken up one of his friends 5 available slots. I know so because despite my PS3 being reset at Sony factory, it still took up one of my 5 available slots.

And Yes it does matter if you from different countries, if your MW2 disc code doesn't match any of the ones you choose to download from then you can't use the MW2 map packs.

Me and my friends always shared stuff and after we'd done downloading, we'd delete the user accounts and change our passwords, the downloaded content still worked included MW and COD5 map packs.

The following user thanked Awayze for this useful post:
