Any way I can get the MW2 patch on it so I can then transfer it to my 3.55 PS3? I will obviously give you a free CL, and you'll be on my friends list forever. I'll even paypal you money for god's sake, just please help me figure this out!!

I can help open you
1: open your ps3
2:take out you blu-ray
3: on the blu-ray there is a green chip connect that back to the ps3
4:throw you blu-ray away or sell it
5: your done

Thanks for the help, but that unfortunately did not work. I've read about that fix and read it only works with 40gb models. +rep for your help and time though

Had the same problem, but lucky it was just because I never connected it back. The board that connects to the disc drive is the only part that is needed if that doesn't work when connected then it must be the board and that can't be replaced sorry.. I heard there was a payload though for jb that can be ran so a blueray is not needed.. good luck

did u read it?? he cant boot ftp i have same prob 60gb ps3. i feel for you hopefully there will be a ftp /payload that dont check for bd
