Okay, so here is my FIRST and FINAL release of any programs.
I will update the program with different game compatiblity, like choosing CoD4 or CoD5
Blackstorm's Decompression/Compression Tool [v6.6.9]
REA
This program DOES NOT do all the work for you, there is SOME Hex Editing involved but what this program does is take A LOT of time off of that.
Use this shit wisely.
READ THIS BEFORE ANYTHING:
This tool only works with patches that are 228kb (232,572 bytes)
ANY PATCH ANOTHER SIZE WILL NOT WORK
ALSO YOU CANNOT EDIT RENAMED GSC's THIS WILL CAUSE A BLACKSCREEN
--- REQUIREMENTS ---
~ Windows
~ A Brain
~ A Patch
~ Offzip
~ Packzip
NOTICE: OFFZIP AND PACKZIP MUST BE IN THE SAME FOLDER AS THE PATCH AND THE PROGRAM ITSELF.
--- HOW TO USE ---
ENTERING MENUS:
Simply type desired menu number and press enter.
EXECUTING FUNCTIONS:
Simply follow the on screen prompts to do the desired function.
Example: Please define the patch name: patch_mp.ff
CONFIRMING:
Yes, I know it's annoying a bit, but it proves useful.
Y = Yes
N = No
--- MENU FUNCTIONS ---
~ DECOMPRESSING MENU
OPTIONS:
Extract a GSC :: Immediately extracts and decompresses a GSC from a patch. Buggy on _missions.gsc and airdrop.gsc.
Decompress Patch into Your 3 Needed Files :: Decompresses the patch and creates the files 0000b4a0.dat, 00014f51.dat, and 00023ef6.dat.
Decompress Patch into One File :: Decompresses patch and creates the file 00000027.dat.
Decompress a GSC :: Decompresses a compressed GSC... eg. _missions_comp.gsc
Extract and Organize All GSC's :: Decompresses the patch and decompresses the GSC's and renames every GSC to its proper name.
Return to main menu :: Self Explanatory.
Exit :: Exits program.
~ COMPRESSING MENU
OPTIONS:
Manually Compress a File :: Compresses file through customized offset and file names
Inject 0000b4a0.dat into Patch :: Packs up the 0000b4a0.dat into a patch.
Inject 00014f51.dat into Patch :: Packs up the 00014f51.dat into a patch.
Inject 00024ef6.dat into Patch :: Packs up the 00024ef6.dat into a patch.
Inject All Files into Patch :: Injects 0000b4a0.dat and 00014f51.dat into the patch ( Doesn't inject 00024ef6.dat due to blackscreen risks. )
Compress a GSC :: Compresses a decompressed GSC ( eg. from _missions.gsc to _missions_comp.gsc )
Return to main menu :: Returns to main menu...
Exit :: Exits Program

this still needs to be put into the dat files and hex edited then packed into the patch it just helps getting the gscs and editing them hints it shouldn't be for nubs to use he probally made it so he can skip some steps while doing this and make it easier so yea for someone to say he hasnt downloaded this im going to go with you dont know how to repack the files into the patch
