i had same problem , i deleted 1.11 patch and reinstalled it and also i did not download map packs after i reinstalled 1.11 and this worked for me.

ive done that exactly a few times, still no effect

free up some space on your ps3, like if you have movies, music etc that might be taking space. Also try changing patches and use different ones.

i had the same problem.
whenever your looking for kids to make a lobby; if everyone backs out or your not finding anyone; backout and try again bcuz if you sit on the same map till something happens you will get the memory glitch.

if it is an "out of memory" bug, that doesn't mean wipe ur HDD... Memory is RAM, which is RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY. This means whenever the game loads a map or textures, it is stored in the RAM, because it has a faster transfer rate than the HDD. The ps3 only has like 512MB of RAM (I believe) and therefore, when using mods, may overfill the RAM with useless stuff or too many things loaded. This is my explanation. My friend has mods and doesn't have issues, so I think you just need a different mod.

Out of memory is random thing. It happens to all of us and it happens more often if you have infections
