it's been two days that i try to patch my mw2 but without success, I just wanna use it to have some fun as now every room on a rate of 1on3 I join on mw2 there is a guy with the patch...and i don't have ittttt ((

alright here's the problem; i'm from italy so i have the BLES 00685 vs, i downloaded and tried first the reddotcity (caz it was the one I saw online in a room i played) went to the site, downloaded everything. So i upgraded my ps3 via storage media to the 3.55jb version put the awesome filemanager on my ps3 and on a flash drive the patch. Opened awesome and copied my patch from the pen to dev_0hdd/game/bles0685/usdir

that's it then I went to the game, private room but nothing happened!!! (( i tried to do the same with all sorts of patches I found in this forum mossy, enzo ...name one!!!! what am I possibly doing wrong here guys?? oh and yes i tried also the patches exclusevely for bles 0685 that i downloaded from this forum...but nothing!!!!

Okay, First.
1. Go To Game Data Utility.
2. Delete Mw2 Patch.
3. Start Up Mw2 And Redownload It.
4. Quit Game.
5. Go To File Manager.
6. Highlight Your Patch In USB.
7. Go To The Left. You Know What To Do.
8. When Your In "USDIR" Or W/e. Highlight The Patch In That. Go To The Right. Push O Then Start.
9. Quit Game.
10. Start Up Mw2.
ECT ECT ECT.

although, only the patch for bles0865 is workin the mossy ultimate v9edit, all the others that are generic don't seem to start up!!! but yea i'll stick with this one!!!!!
one last question, as u seem to be so good at this stuff...to go online... i have to private match and then put force host right? but with someone of my friends online in the room??

reddotcity blows but anyways to comment on the whole everybody is using modz online yea its getting outta control and wit the whole lawsuit between geohot failoverflow and sony i wouldnt be surprized if sony doesnt start banning alot of ppl cause once u go online with modz your violating there terms and agreements and they can tell wat ppl are doing u tube some of failoverflows findings im jus sayn dont b surprized if u get banned.

I thought you have to restart your ps3.. I have to anyway and if i dont it isnt the patch at all. :wtf:

yea well of course!! i mean i agree with sony caz if u cheat you have to get banned...otherwise ppl that want to play normally just can't do it caz there are too many ppl with these patches..!!
that's why anyawy i got a new account for the patch...but thing is for me...i wanted to have it to just have fun a couple of times..using it over and over it again online it's useless...i mean after a while u get bored!!! there's no game with the patch!!!! lol

Favorite thing when im uber bored:

Stealth aimbot + SnD + intervention 720s/780s xD its so funny they call you hacker on first killcam due to it being across the map xD Lots of fails tho ;P

ahhaha nice one!!! yea i love quick scoping with that option!! for info...how do you go online?? u do force host and then just wait for ppl to connect?? caz i do this but it takes ages before getting ppl into my room...

wow ppl are crazy anyways if they ban u they wont do a acct ban its going to be a system ban so u pretty much brick your system online sony is tryn to be sneaky so be careful wat u do and dont be surprized if u get banned.
