(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm trying to use a different patch_mp.ff! It transfer's fine but then when i go back onto Modern Warfare 2 and Private match it comes back on the GodlyModz lobby again can anyone help me out?

UPDATE: I even delete the GodlyModz Patch from the folder and it still comes up with the same lobby!

What you mean the right patch? Does the patches have Region on them? :s

Make sure the new patch overwrites your old one.

Best thing to do is litterally "DELETE" your current patch, then copy the new one in.

If its STILL! godlymods, then your just copying the godlymods patch.

when you transfer the patch over check to see if the file size changed if it didnt then transfer it again

It can be confusing when working with different patches. They are all called patch_mp.ff! To make it more organized I always keep all of my patches in one folder. In that folder I have a folder that is named for the patch. Then each folder has the corresponding patch_mp.ff file in it.

If you are using Com-whatever File Manager then make sure you have your cursor select the patch_mp.ff on the PS3 and then switch back to the usb side and make sure the patch_mp.ff is selected there as well. Then hit "select" to enter advanced mode (you prob. don't have to do this but I always do anyway). Then hit "circle" to copy. It will show in the bottom left side what path you are copying FROM and what path you are copying TO. Make sure you are going the right way! It can be easy to copy the patch from the PS3 to the USB and if you did that and didn't know, you will be very confused at which patch you are even working with then!...lol keep it simple and organized and that will help a lot.

if you didnt update your ps3 firmware yet just delete the whole mw2 patch and reownload then use whatever it is you use to switch patches and change them

Just delete on your ps3 the patch of mw2 and start up mw2 and download the original patch. Than your cl is gone but you are legit and unbanneble

I've deleted the patch_mp.ff from directory, and it still comes back! Do you think it's doing this because i'm playing it without the Disc? It's really frustrating me i don't even want to do this in Public Matches
just for Friends and whoever wants to have it done.
