Right I Did 11th Prestige for my mate, and ive put back the default_mp.self back in so i can play online again. But ever since i did 11 prestige my online never ever loads up and im stuck on fetching playlists forever. i left my ps3 on 4 like 2 hours and was still on fetching playlists.

has something gone wrong in 1 of the files like EBOOT.bin or anything like that? s

i had the same problem. you have to delete mw2 and reinstall. you'll sitll b 11th=D

what do you mean delete mw2? btw i deleted the patch it still doesnt work.

i thought it worked but then went i went on the playlist to find a game it came up again and it just lags out, cant go in a private or anything.

UNDER Game go to the top to GAME DATA Utility/ find MW2 and hit triangle and delete then put mw2 disk in and play game and it will install and you'll still b 11th. your welcome=D

which was basically what that 1st guy said. and thats not deleting the whole game thats just basically the patch.

Just a little update. can you get server banned on mw2? cause i was on fetching playlists for hours on my normal account. then i went on my other account it worked straight away?!

no. on the home screen of your ps3 under GAME you go in the folder that says GAME DATA UTILITY/ FIND MW2/ HIT TRIANGLE AND DELETE..

ive only heard rumors about ppl getting ban from mw2 bcuz they were hacking in a public match.
